AUTHOR CHALLENGES
As part of Read Woke Primaries, our staff and students will work with positive role models, ranging from recorded author masterclasses to in-school visits from inspirational people. As we produce masterclass or challenge videos from authors involved in the project they will be made freely available on this page for all.
CHALLENGE #1 - RASHMI SIRDESHPANDE
Rashmi Sirdeshpande introduces her non-fiction books How to be Extraordinary and How to Change the World. She then sets students a research challenge of her own.

A.M. Dassu introduces her books Boy, Everywhere and Fight Back and the way media stories can fuel harmful stereotypes. She then sets a research and writing challenge for students. CHALLENGE #4 - SHARNA JACKSON
Sharna Jackson introduces her book The Good Turn. She talks about the inspiration behind the story and how she went about creating The Copseys. Sharna sets students a challenge, asking them create their own Scout group, with a name, pledge, code of conduct and badges.
